Vacaville fire kills woman, dog

VACAVILLE, Calif. (KGO) -- A fire in Vacaville that killed a woman and her pet dog Monday morning is under investigation.

The fire broke out in an upstairs bedroom in the home on Gentry Circle around 10:30 a.m. Inside, firefighters found the body of 52-year-old Bobbie Mitchell

Investigators believe the fire started in a mattress and doesn't appear to be criminal in nature.
