SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- A home in San Rafael was damaged by a fire early this morning.
A home in San Rafael was damaged by a fire early this morning, officials said.
Firefighters responded to reports of fire at a three-unit home at 1516 Lincoln Blvd. at about 5:15 a.m., according to the San Rafael Fire Department.
Arriving firefighters reported that flames had burned through the roof on the second floor.
Two residents were evacuated and fire crews had the blaze contained in about 20 minutes, officials said.
One resident was evaluated by paramedics at the scene and released, officials said.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause and origin of the fire remained under investigation.
