A Marin County family is cleaning up after Tuesday night's rain and heavy winds sent a large oak tree crashing onto their home.

The 100-foot tall tree fell on the home on Cascade Drive in Fairfax around 7 p.m. Tuesday. It also crushed a car.

Three people were briefly trapped inside. No one was hurt.

Fire officials say another tree fell onto a home in Larkspur about an hour later. No one was hurt there either.
