Police arrived at the Walmart at 681 Lincoln Ave. shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday and arrested Samuel Serle Schaffer, 22, of Vallejo.

Police said that Schaffer is suspected of providing a co-conspirator with two store gift cards worth $500 each on June 6.

Between that day and June 9, Schaffer and his co-conspirator went to the Walmart in American Canyon and used the embezzled gift cards to purchase $949.73 worth of merchandise, police said.
