PETALUMA, Calif. -- A 15-year-old girl from Petaluma went missing Wednesday evening, according to police.
At about 5:20 p.m. Rubi Cruz-Mendoza was seen getting into a vehicle with Hilario Matus-Carmona near the intersection of Park Lane and McGregor Drive in Petaluma, near the Washington Square Shopping Center, police said.
Police said an unknown Hispanic man was driving the vehicle, which was described as a tan or silver colored two-door sedan.
Police said it was suspected that Cruz-Mendoza and Matus-Carmona might be involved in a relationship.
