Man killed in Lake County officer-involved shooting

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- A CHP officer shot and killed a man after a struggle in Lake County Wednesday afternoon.

The officer pulled a driver over on a stretch of Highway 29, just south of Lower Lake, when she says the suspect attacked her. She opened fire, killing him.

It happened at about 2 p.m. Officers set up their investigation just off the highway to keep it open to traffic.
