Stolen Golden Gate Transit bus recovered in Santa Rosa

NOVATO, Calif. -- A Golden Gate Transit bus was stolen in Novato Tuesday afternoon and later recovered in Santa Rosa, according to the Golden Gate Transportation District.

The bus was stolen from the Novato lot at 3:50 p.m. It was later spotted in Santa Rosa, according to the transportation district.

The bus was eventually recovered a short time later by Santa Rosa police and a suspect was taken into custody. The district has not released any further details about the incident.
