SEQUIOA NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (KGO) -- Teams have temporarily suspended the search for a missing San Rafael woman who vanished after going on a hike in Sequoia National Park after a body was found in the area.
Officials say 65-year-old Johnnie Jean Daniel was last seen on Sunday.
Her family says she's an experienced hiker who frequently goes hiking alone.
Park officials believe Daniel was hiking along the Sawtooth Trail in the Mineral King area.
They found a body Saturday just below the trail, and are waiting for it to be identified.
