PALO ALTO, CA (KGO) -- The Mothers International Lactation Campaign protested against Facebook Saturday.
The protesting mothers, who call themselves Lactovists, were upset because Facebook removed pictures of women breast-feeding their babies from the social networking site.
Facebook said it "violates the terms of use."
"It was really frustrating. when it happened the second time, i was instant messaging my husband and said what do you think about this, and he said this makes me really upset, and we were upset about this because it's nothing wrong," said Heather Farley.
Facebook issued a statement saying it agreed that breastfeeding is natural and beautiful.
It says it takes no action on a vast majority of breast-feeding photos, except the ones that show a fully-exposed breast.
