Vietnam's deputy prime minister, and other government and business officials, are meeting with California companies in an effort to increase business ties. The investment forum is called "Meet Vietnam" and some events are taking place at San Francisco City Hall.

But, protesters say they think city officials should not be helping the Vietnamese government.

"We are concerned, not only because it will take jobs away from Americans here, but also because of the rampant abuses of human rights in Vietnam," said Brian Do.

The conference is ending with a gala dinner and art performances Monday night at City Hall.
