SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The latest entry into the crowded San Francisco mayoral race will face off against his rivals for the first time at a debate Tuesday evening.
San Francisco Police Defender Jeff Adachi confirmed to ABC7 that he will attend the debate the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center sponsored by the Alliance for Jobs and Sustainable Growth.
Adachi filed papers to run last Friday just before the deadline and a few days after interim mayor Ed Lee, who changed his mind about not running.
The candidates will debate again on Thursday.
