SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The much anticipated makeover of the Metreon in San Francisco is nearing completion.
Final touches are being put on the lobby area and on Monday, several restaurants will open for business. Construction will continue in other areas including the new Target store which will open sometime this fall.
The new owners said they redid the whole interior to make it more of a gathering place. The top floor has been redesigned and will be rented out for various events.
