The owners of the El Balazo Mexican food restaurants are paying a heavy price for not paying their taxes and other crimes.
A federal judge sentenced co-owner Marino Sandoval to 41 months in prison for tax and social security fraud, and immigration charges.
Sandoval and his wife were also ordered to pay more than $2 million in restitution.
The couple pleaded guilty last year to under reporting employee wages and hiring more than 100 people they knew were illegal immigrants.
