Wednesday, June 06, 2012
Where do people in the Bay Area rank in terms of intelligence? Fifth, according to Lumosity, the San Francisco-based online brain training company that just released its list of the top 25 smartest cities in the country.
No.1 is Charlottesville, Virginia followed by Lafayette, Indiana and Anchorage, Alaska. The San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose area ranked fifth. Sringfield, Massachusetts came in last at No. 25.
The rankings are based on how well users from each city scored playing memory, problem-solving and other cognitive games.
