SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- In San Francisco public health authorities say five rabid bats have been found around Lake Merced.
The most recent one was found a week ago on South Lake Merced Hill. Others have been found in the last four months.
Warnings are going out to 200 nearby homeowners, urging them not to touch dead bats, or let pets anywhere near them.
