Park crews clean up Fort Mason after crowds

Friday, July 05, 2013

It's clean-up time in San Francisco after thousands of revelers camped out to watch the fireworks. At Fort Mason workers scoured the great meadow for litter. There was lots of paper and bottle caps on the grass.

But nothing like last year when fireworks watchers left the place literally trashed.

This year, more garbage and recycling bins were put out and park rangers were on hand to enforce a ban on glass bottles and BBQ grills.
