TREASURE ISLAND (KGO) -- Four firefighters are recovering after being hurt while battling a fire on Treasure Island Friday evening.
Sky7HD was over the scene as flames and smoke worked their way to the roof of the empty building, located on Avenue E, near 9th Street.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out on the stairs of the building. It took crews about 90 minutes to bring it under control.
One of the firefighters was hurt in a fall. It's not clear how the other three were injured. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
