SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the city's Excelsior neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting was reported near Mission Street and Brazil Avenue at about 4 p.m.
According to SFPD Officer Gordon Shyy, officers arrived and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said a male suspect was seen running from the area, but no other suspect information was immediately available.
