SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose State University is warning students about two sexual assaults in just one week.
The latest incident happened not far from campus on South Ninth and East San Salvador streets before dawn Sunday morning. Another student was sexually assaulted on campus Sept. 5.
Campus police are increasing their patrols in light of the attacks. They don't believe the two incidents are related because the suspect descriptions are different.
