Card theft scam hits South Bay's Blue Star Moms

The Secret Service is leading the investigation into the skimming devices found at 23 Lucky supermarkets.

Organizers with the South Bay's Blue Star Moms, who send care packages to troops, said the Lucky supermarket scammers have stolen at least $3,000 from their account.

That money was donated to send holiday care packages and to help homeless vets. The group is scrambling to make up the loss until it hears back from Lucky and investigators.
