LOS ALTOS, Calif. (KGO) -- A mountain lion wandered into a rural part of Los Altos Tuesday morning and came face-to-face with a German shepherd.
It happened near the 280 freeway. The dog treed the lion. The Department of Fish and Game arrived, told everyone to back away, and the lion ambled off.
Officials say the lion was not aggressive and probably just taking a stroll.
