MILPITAS, Calif. (KGO) -- A transient found naked outside a Milpitas church is in jail facing felony vandalism charges. Police say he went on a rampage smashing church property after arguing with his girlfriend.
The damage found inside and outside St. John's church on South Abel Street included destroyed statues, candle holders, and planters. The damage adds up to about $20,000.
The suspect, 30-year-old Michael David Vickroy, was booked for felony church vandalism. There has been no explanation yet as to why he was naked when police caught him.
