San Jose police investigating triple shooting

SAN JOSE -- Two men and a woman were injured in a shooting at an apartment complex early this morning in East San Jose, according to police.

At 4:09 a.m., police received multiple reports of shots fired in the 1500 block of Cunningham Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers did not find any victims, but determined that the shooting took place near basketball courts at the San Jose Apartments.

Police said two men and a woman walked into a local hospital with gunshot wounds not considered life-threatening.

Police believe all three victims were shot at the apartment complex.

No suspects have been identified or arrested and the motive for the shooting remains under investigation, police said.
