SAN JOSE (KGO) -- A driver who apparently fell asleep at the wheel gave one San Jose neighborhood a rude wake-up call this morning.
Police say the driver hit several parked cars on Camden Avenue. He sheared off a fire hydrant before slamming hard into the side of an apartment building.
Residents in the area say this isn't the first time parked cars have been hit on the street. Crews were able to quickly cap off the gas meter that was hit by the work truck.
