Sacred Heart still in need of toy donations for kids

Monday, December 16, 2013

Sacred Heart Community Service in San Jose started giving out more than 3,000 food boxes to families in need on Monday.

People receiving food boxes waited in line for hours last month just to sign up for the service.

On Friday, parents will be able to walk in and pick out three toys for their children -- 18,000 toys in total will be given away. Right now they're only about half way there.

Sacred Heart is asking the public to help by dropping off a toy or cash donation.
