BAGHDAD -- Iraqi authorities say a roadside bomb has hit a military convoy south of Baghdad, killing three soldiers.
Police officials said another 10 were wounded in the blast near Musayyib town, 60 kilometers (40 miles) south of the capital.
A medical official confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to talk to journalists.
Sunday's attack followed a day of deadly bombings across Iraq that left 69 dead. Insurgents frequently target the security forces, as well as Shiite civilians and others.
