FLORIDA (KGO) -- Google may have a driverless car, but Boeing has a pilotless F-16 fighter jet.
The plane rolled down the runway and then took off during a test flight at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida last week.
Six retired fighter jets have been refurbished and turned into drones so they can serve as flying targets for air force training exercises.
The plane is controlled by test pilots on the ground.
