Juan Uribe will be a Dodger

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- When you win a world championship in any sport, there's a special bond that team will have for life, because it will not be the same roster the following year.
The Giants have already lost Edgar Renteria and now Juan Uribe is leaving for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Uribe is headed to L.A. to sign a three-year, $21 million deal which doubles his salary with the Giants if he passes his physical.
The 31-year-old has two World Series rings with the White Sox and the Giants.
His defense will be missed. He played shortstop and third base and his timely hitting made him one of the few Giants with power.
Baseball is a business and when you have two rings, Uribe and his family will be set with $21 million guaranteed.
Unfortunately, we'll see him a lot -- in a Dodger uniform.
