LONG POND, Pa. --- Danica Patrick hasn't gotten any long-term assurances on her future with GoDaddy from the new CEO, but she likes the direction he's headed.

"Blake loves racing, which is good," Patrick said of Blake Irving, who took over as CEO of the website domain provider in January. "His son is really into cars. You know, it's still about making that relationship work and making sure there is return on investment for what they're doing.

"It's my job to get out there and represent the company well, finish well for them so it's in the papers and on TV."

Patrick has a deal with GoDaddy at least through 2014. She enters Sunday's race at Pocono Raceway 26th in the standings with one top-10, eighth in the Daytona 500.

"GoDaddy has been an incredible partner for a really long time," Patrick said Friday. "The most important thing is that there is return on investment for them. If they keep growing and I'm a part of that, then I feel we're linked together and we help each other with the success, but it takes two."

GoDaddy is in the final year of its IndyCar contract with Andretti Autosport and driver James Hinchcliffe. Irving recently told The Associated Press he likes Patrick and Hinchcliffe.

"If you think about both of them, the individual fit is kind of incredible," he told AP. "Hinch is such a great fit because he's got such a great understanding of social media, he's actually popped on social media in a way Danica hasn't.

"But both of them from a characteristic standpoint have made their own way, whether it was super sharp on how you get sponsors, how you position yourself and then how hard you actually race and how hard you try. So for that fit, individually, both people are very, very unique and great for GoDaddy."
