WASHINGTON (KGO) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has scheduled back-to-back sessions dealing with same-sex marriage starting March 26 at 7 a.m. Pacific Time.
The high court scheduled oral arguments in the federal constitutional challenge to California's Proposition 8, which forbids same-sex marriage, for March 26.
The next day, the court will hear a challenge to the constitutionality of the federal Defense of Marriage Act, or DOMA, which denies federal benefits to married same-sex couples.
