SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- An Arizona man is out thousands of dollars and he thinks Twitter may have something to do with it.

Before heading out on a trip with his family, Israel Hyman tweeted that he was leaving town. A few days later, Hyman's dad stopped by to check on the house and found thousands of dollars in computer equipment was missing.

Hyman has a video podcasting company and says he makes his living on Twitter, but he thinks his message may have tipped off the thieves.
