DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Produce KGO-TV's first newscast of the day, 6 a.m. - 7 a.m., Monday - Friday. Responsibilities include story selection and placement, script approval, teases, graphics and supervision of other editorial and production elements. Must be able to produce a highly creative, content/coverage-driven newscast with multiple live elements. Ensure each broadcast reflects the diversity of the Bay Area and meets standards for fairness, balance and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS: Medium to major market experience required. Familiarity with the Bay Area preferred.
