Job Opening: TV Newscast Writer (Freelance)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Successful candidate will write and edit stories for various newscasts. Responsibilities will also include coordinating video, audio and graphic elements for reporters and producers. Shifts include weekends and/or overnights. Includes at least two regularly scheduled shifts each week.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be able to multitask. That includes researching, writing and editing under intense deadline pressure. Prior TV newswriting and/or producing experience required. Knowledge of contemporary newscast production techniques including desktop editing and ENPS computer system preferred.
