Job Opening: Newswriter (Freelance)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Successful candidate will write and edit stories for various newscasts. Responsibilities will also include coordinating video, audio and graphic elements for reporters and producers. Some shifts may include weekends and overnights.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be able to multitask. That includes researching, writing and editing under intense deadline pressure. Major TV market newswriting and/or producing experience required. Knowledge of contemporary newscast production techniques including desktop editing and ENPS computer system preferred.
