Big-rig accident shuts down lanes on EB I-80

A Sig-alert has been issued this morning for a crash involving a jack-knifed big-rig and as many as four other vehicle on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in Berkeley, according to a California Highway Patrol officer

The crash just east of Ashby Avenue, reported at 10:18 a.m., is blocking three lanes on the highway. An alert was issued at 10:26 a.m., CHP Officer James Evans said.

There is no estimate when lanes will reopen, according to the CHP.
