Food has always been a central ingredient of Chef David Denis' life. It is his passion for creating and cooking that makes Le Mistral such a special place. David was born and raised in the Provence region of France. He often spent summers helping his grandmother, Mémé, in her brasserie in La Seyne. This strong culinary connection prepared him for his journey to becoming a Master. After impressing his instructors in culinary school, Dennis began a hearty, decorated career as a chef in France. He found his way to Houston in 1995 as a private chef for a prominent family. Cadillac Culinary Masters - Cadillac and ABC-13 have come together to unveil a new series recognizing Culinary Masters in the Houston area. This partnership was created in an effort to pay tribute to Houston's finest chefs. To qualify for this prestigious honor, Chefs must meet the criteria established by our panel of judges. Each month, the selected chef will feature a 'Cadillac Culinary Masters' inspired menu with proceeds benefiting the Houston Food Bank.
