PARKING: The most convenient parking for the Freedom Over Texas is Entrance 2 of Theater District Parking, underneath Tranquillity Park, along Rusk, between Bagby and Smith. (See a map of places to park)

ENTERTAINMENT: FREEDOM OVER TEXAS WITH FIREWORKS PRESENTED BY SHELL, Houston's Official July 4th Celebration, will celebrate America's Birthday with live concerts and a "Texas Sized" fireworks display sponsored by Shell! This fun-filled family celebration will keep toes tapping with the diverse musical sounds of today's America including; pop, country, zydeco, latino, jazz, adult contemporary, classic rock, and rhythm & blues. Other attractions include The Freedom Market, The Bud Zone featuring the Bud-Light Sand Volleyball Championship, and The All-American Kid's Zone featuring free rides and attractions for the kids. A special highlight is Liberty Park, Symbols of Freedom, which offers the unique opportunity to experience displays of military artifacts and vehicles, voting booth demonstrations, the Printing Museum of History, and much more!

EVENT HIGHLIGHT: The crowning highlight of FREEDOM OVER TEXAS WITH FIREWORKS PRESENTED BY SHELL 2009 will be the Fireworks Spectacular! Spanning Buffalo Bayou west of Sabine Bridge, this unparalleled fireworks display will combine specially choreographed music with unrivaled pyrotechnic artistry.
