It's a tradition that began in January of 1952 and is still going strong today. Below is a map of the routes that the nearly 6,000 trail riders will make on their annual trek into Houston for the 2008 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo!

Los Vaqueros Rio Grande Trail Ride | The Mission Trail Ride | Northeastern Trail Ride | Old Spanish Trail Ride | Prairie View Trail Ride | Salt Grass Trail Ride | Sam Houston Trail Ride | Southwest Trail Ride | Southwestern Trail Ride | The Spanish Trail Ride | Texas Cattlemen's Trail Ride | Texas Independence Trail Ride | Valley Lodge Trail Ride

Trail rides enter Memorial Park beginning at 10am on Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, and each has a scheduled time for arrival. A team from the Trail Ride Committee and the Junior Rodeo Committee judges their appearance as they arrive, and that is combined with other judging that took place on the trail. The official Trail Ride Awards Ceremony takes place at Memorial Park (corner of Memorial Drive and N. Picnic Dr.) beginning at 5 p.m.
