As Hurricane Ike barrels towards the Texas Gulf Coast, the federal government has released computer-generated images to show how bad the storm surge could be for Galveston, the city closest to the projected path. The images illustrate why officials issued a mandatory evacuation order for the city. Federal authorities were blunt, warning Galveston residents:
