HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are investigating a double shooting at a liquor store in north Houston.
It happened around 3pm at Green Discount Liquor in the 17500 block of Imperial Valley Drive near Greens Road.
A witness tells us there were about 10 people in the store and several people were waiting in line, including the suspect.
When the clerk at the register opened the cash drawer, the witness said the suspect shot the clerk in the neck.
The gunman continued shooting and another store employee was shot in the hip, the witness told us.
The shooter fled the scene. He is described only as a black male. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, officials said.
