ALTOONA, PA -- It didn't take the CSI team to crack this case -- just the redial button.
Police charge Jason Comer with stealing $142 in change from a convenience store near Altoona, Pennsylvania. A clerk at the store says a man asked to use the phone because he was out of gas. The Sheetz employee told officers the man then grabbed a coin dispenser attached to the store's cash registers.
Police used the phone's redial button and the woman who answered said Comer had just called her. The Altoona Mirror reports he was also ID'd on security video. Police say they found him nearby, waiting for a tow.
