Free stuff around town this weekend

Friday, July 19, 2013

It's Friday and for this edition of Free Stuff Friday, it's all about deals on food and family friendly entertainment.

First up, all you have to do for some free pancakes is sign up to be part of IHOP 'Pancake Revolution.' You also get free meals on your birthday and for your first year anniversary of joining.

Over at Denny's, kids eat free every Tuesday. Just head over to a Denny's between 4pm to 10pm every Tuesday and get a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult entree.

And there are still a few days to catch a free performance of "A Chorus Line" at the Miller Outdoor Theater. The final performances are tonight through Sunday starting at 8:15pm.

Over at the Sugar Land Town Square, enjoy a free concert tonight with Chase Hamblin and the Roustabouts. Bring your dancing shoes and dance the night away to the psychedelic folk, Texas swing, and rock and roll hits of the singer voted best male vocalist by the Houston Press in 2012. The concert is from 7:30-9:30pm Friday.

Come back to the Square on Saturday for the free Movie Under the Moon presented by First Colony Church of Christ. Bring your family and friends for the hit Disney/Pixar movie "Monsters Inc." Showtime for this kid friendly movie is at 8:30pm.

More free family concerts are over at Discovery Green this Tuesday from 7 to 10pm. The 4 Concerts in 4 Weeks praise series presented by Special Events and NGEN Radio is a Christian concert series fun for the whole family. This week's "Now Generation" concert will feature Christian artist Andy Mineo.
