HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's Friday and for this edition of Free Stuff Friday, it's all about the kids.
On Saturday, the kids can get a free smoothie at area Jamba Juice locations. Jamba kids day runs from 11am until 4pm but thre is a limit of four free smoothies per a group.
It's still bathing suit season so stay motivated by getting in shape over at Discovery Green with several free exercise classes!
The Blissful Warrior Yoga team meets Saturday at 9am. Then Monday night, it's Bum-Ba Toning at 6:30 p.m. It promises to tone and strengthen your bum and body. Tuesday night at Discovery Green at 6:30, it's core-focused yoga, and on Wednesday, it's zumba at 6:30 p.m. No pre-registration is required but participants are required to sign an exercise release form upon arrival. And don't forget your towel and water.
If you haven't joined the Cane's Caniac Club, now is the perfect time. Not only will you get a free combo for signing up, but on Saturday, you will get free chicken just for being a member. The free tender will be credited to your card but the offer only last on Saturday and will be removed from the card at closing.
Head back over the Discovery Green on Sunday for Houston Family Magazine's free fun fest. The event includes face painting, arts and crafts and train rides. It's on Sunday from 12pm until 4pm.
And a Hollywood classic comes to Market Square Park Saturday night. Everyone is invited for a free screening of "Singin' in the Rain" at the park tomorrow night at 8:30pm.
Finally just in time for back to school Remington College is offering free haircuts to kids throughout August. For the parents, just bring some school supplies to donate and receive a free hair cut, manicure or pedicure.
