Save on back to school shopping at thrift shops

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's time to get ready for back to school, but there are bargains to be found if you know where to look.

You can get big breaks if you shop at thrift stores. Look for quality items that will hold up well for wear and washing. Other tips to consider: study each garment closely. Make sure there are no stains, holes, tears or broken zippers.
