Man accused of sexually assaulting 2 girls goes before judge

MISSOURI CITY, TX (KTRK) -- A man accused of sexually assaulting a girl he met via text message went before a judge Thursday.

William Washington appeared in court on a charge of sexual assault of a child. Prosecutors say Washington posed as a 14-year-old boy while texting a 12-year-old girl. Investigators say Washington picked the girl up at a swimming pool, took her to his home, then assaulted her and dropped her off.

Washington, 27, remains jailed without bond.
