Four suspects arrested in cell phone store robbery in N Harris Co

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's deputies have arrested four men believed to be responsible for an armed robbery at a mobile phone store Tuesday in north Harris County.

The suspects have been identified as: Donte Valentine, 19; Jakelvin Gilliam, 20; Jeremy Gibson, 18; and Johnnie Isabelle, 18. Shortly before noon on Tuesday, deputies responded to an armed robbery in progress at the AT&T store located at 7025 E. FM 1960.

The suspects, armed and with their faces covered, reportedly stole several mobile phones from the business and fled in a vehicle.

One of the phones stolen was that of a witness. The phone was equipped with a GPS tracking device.

Deputies tracked the suspects to an apartment complex in the 14900 block of Bellows Falls. All four individuals were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

Authorities say stolen merchandise, firearms, and clothing worn in the robbery were all recovered inside their vehicle.

Investigators are working to determine if these suspects are responsible for other similar robberies in the county.
