Travis Elementary open again

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- After being closed because of more than two dozen cases of swine flu, Travis Elementary School is back open.

The school reopened on Thursday for summer school after being closed since mid-May. The summer school there has been expanded for parents who feel their children need the extra class time to make up for days missed because of the swine flu.

The school closed on May 15 and decided to stay closed through the end of the year after learning of all of the cases of confirmed swine flu.
