Naked woman jumps from moving vehicle to escape kidnapper

  

(1/04/06 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- The search is on for a man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman. That victim made a brave escape after her terrifying ordeal.

The brazen attack happened just before noon on New Year's Day in the Heritage Village subdivision. A 57-year-old woman was held up at knifepoint in her own garage. The suspect abducted the woman, driving her vehicle to the Best Classic Inn & Suites at 13700 Rankin Circle West.

At the motel, the suspect used the victim's money to buy crack cocaine, according to officials with the Harris County Sheriff's department. The man then drove the woman to a remote area near Rankin Circle North and sexually assaulted her.

The woman was forced back into her car without her clothes. On Imperial Valley near Richcrest, the victim was able to jump from the moving vehicle and she ran for help at a nearby church.

The suspect was last seen driving the victim's vehicle, a 2002 dark green Subaru wagon with Texas license plate R23-XTC. The suspect is described as a black male, 45 to 48 years old, weighing approximately 250 pounds. He has three tattoos: three Chinese letters on his right arm, the initials "CJ" on his right chest and a fancy cross with scroll artwork on his left arm.
