Several injured after driver slams into METRO bus

Tuesday, February 14, 2006

There's been another accident involving a METRO bus in northeast Houston.

Police say the bus had the green light and was crossing an intersection on Langley at Homestead around midnight. A man in a car ran a red light and was rammed by the bus.

The driver of the car had to be cut out of the vehicle. He and the bus driver, along with three passengers were taken to the hospital. None of the injuries were life-threatening.

This is the third accident involving a METRO bus in less than a month.
