(3/15/06 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- Starbucks is giving away free coffee at all of its stores in the nation Wednesday morning.
Just stop by your closest Starbucks for a free 12-ounce cup, between 10 am and noon. Starbucks expects to serve more than half a million free cups of coffees.
Starbucks is trying to counter McDonald's move into the high-end coffee club.
