(6/26/06 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- TxDOT, Governor Rick Perry, and other lawmakers held a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday to mark the completion of part of the massive Katy Freeway reconstruction program.
One project involved construction work on a three mile stretch on I-10 from the Harris-Fort Bend County lines to east of the Grand Parkway.
Another project included work on about seven miles of I-10 from the Grand Parkway to west of Highway 6.
